Is your wardrobe raining clothes?

From a childhood where wardrobe had enough space for toys, clothes etc.

to opening an overly filled wardrobe raining clothes

What changed in between the journey?

If I ponder on it,

I realize that clothes were purchased only for festive occasions or a few for daily wear only if older ones were worn out.

What we are experiencing now is hoarding

which we may or may not be doing intentionally

Access to so many brands giving us mind-blowing offers doesn’t let us resist or think

Especially when we read 70% off, or you read buy 1 get 1 free, clearance and what not!

Ofcourse, it is going to blow our mind

And before anyone grabs our favorite outfit

We would purchase it without any second thought

Well, we will be content for sometime

Until we see a new fashion trend

And if we also see there is an offer on that

Why wouldn’t we grab it right?

And then we are content again

And then we see another fashion trend

And we feel that we don’t have that

We wait for offers on that style

And the moment it’s out

We just grab it !

And the cycle repeats!

When it comes to cleaning our wardrobe

It is very hard for us to let go of our clothes, isn’t it?

Well, I think we need to understand our shopping patterns and how marketers lure us to purchase their products.

The faster we understand, we may learn to save our money, space, time and energy!

Limiting our shopping and reusing our clothes can contribute to the environment sustainability!

And this is a choice and decision that we have a total control on !

It’s time we take a conscious decision !
